Testimonials

Our farm
Owned and run by Merwin and Regina Fernandes, our certified organic farm, nestled in the pristine surrounding of the western ghats, is based on the principles of sustainable regenerative natural farming inspired by permaculture. In our attempt to create a ‘forest in a farm’ we have developed an ecosystem that’s highly bio-diverse and is home to a wide variety of rare native and exotic fruits and nuts, spices and herbs, medicinal plants, and native flora and fauna; and produces over 100 varieties of crops.
We believe that soil health is the foundation of plant health; and a living soil is characterized by a highly bio-diverse ecosystem that is home to a wide variety of plants, micro-organisms, earthworms, insects, reptiles, bees, butterflies, and birds. All our farm workers live on the farm and are an integral part of our journey. Our sustainability initiatives include rainwater harvesting, solar and wind energy, on-the-farm water reservoir, solar water pumping, and focus on reduce-reuse-recycle principles
